The Art Of Tim Stringer

Lake Sunset isn’t so much a new piece as a re-working of an older piece. The changes are minor but now that they are done I like the piece much more. To me it now seems finished. There is nothing earth shattering about this piece. It isn’t meant to have any deep meanings. It is peaceful piece meant to remind the viewer of a quiet evening, relaxed and content.

Dance In Hell – It has taken me about a year to finish this painting. I haven’t worked on it continuously all that time rather in fits and starts, a few hours here, a few hours there. This is something of a tongue in cheek painting. The Christian concept of Hell is torment and suffering, yet here I have a figure dancing before a lava lake. Draw your own conclusions and meanings.
